Abstract The obituary article of Tibor Živković (11.03.1966 – 26. 03.2013), a Serbian historian and specialist in the medieval history of Serbia, the South Slavs and Byzantium. The article presents a short biography of Tibor Živković and gives a general characteristics of his activities in the field of medieval history.
